Colorscape was conceived by architect Francis Kéré and designed in collaboration with the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Curatorial and Design teams. The exhibition was installed in May 2016 using over 200,000 feet of Gladding Braided Products parachute cord.

Members of the Museum staff, students from the University of Pennsylvania Undergraduate Program in Architecture, and the general public helped fabricate components of the installation, truly representing the coming together of a community.
